Yoga practice creates a space to feel, to listen in and re-connect with our natural abundant self. This form of Hatha Flow Yoga offers a simple, graceful form of yoga which cultivates growing awareness of how our physical body moves which over time can also give us a greater awareness of our way of being in a wider sense as well. Carly encourages people to listen to the subtle body moving through the physical sheath of the body to lengthen and animate postures, with particular emphasis on lengthening the 5th limb of the body – the spine. So that over time we can begin to hear the body and notice where we can move with more ease, efficiency and connection to the ground via awareness of the whole body moving as one.

Classes are offered in half term blocks to allow people to really learn and get to know what is being taught at a deeper level. Each block of sessions focuses on a specific sequence which changes each half term, but the fundamental principles of the teaching are consistant and coherent from block to block.

All classes are held apart from the Wednesday class are held at Carlys studio in Nether Edge Sheffield and are limited to 6 people. Pre book only contact to book.

If you are short on time or want to really hone in on a specific area, 1:1 yoga sessions are ideal. Sessions are 1 hour and can be tailored to suit your needs. As with anything, daily self practice is the best way to truly reap the benefits of a yoga practice. In 1:1 sessions I offer short digestible sequences that you can take away and work on, I often introduce a poem and there is time for questions and discussion around whatever is coming up for you.
